Glenorleigh Hotel - Torquay

Nice and quiet, and comfortable room.

Unable to use pool as new lining was being fitted.

Cleanliness of the hotel was very good and the hotel had a relaxed informal atmosphere which made it a very pleasent stay. The breakfast choice was excellent and cooked to order.

Very impressive..especially at £30 a night for bed and breakfast. A hidden gem was the description I saw recently. How true that is! This establishment deserves all its high praise..I told David I would happily stay here again.

Occasional noise from the next room...but not a fault of the establishment.

We were made welcome from the outset, david (the owner) was relaxed and informal, after a long drive it was a good start. Throughout the break, we were left to ourselves, but if we wnated information/advice/a chat, all the staff were very helpful.the breakfast were very good, additionally when we wanted a variation, this was no trouble either. Overall very good.

The only slight negative is the hotel is about a 20 minute walk to the sea front. The positive to this was that it was very quiet at night time,

Close enough to the sea front but quiet. The hotel was clean, and had everything we needed. Lovely outdoor pool and the staff were very efficient

We had a blast enjoying the games room and relaxing by the pool with my two adult kids. Breakfast was great, with plenty of choices that fueled our adventures each day. Kelly was the heart of the place.

In my wife's opinion, a few more activities for older kids would be great.

What a lovely little hotel on a quiet side road in beautiful Torquay. Great breakfasts cooked fresh to order, sadly did not have the opportunity to try the evening meal. An idea base for touring the English Riveria.

I suppose the lack of a bath in our en suite, However there was a shared bathroom next to our room, so really did not present that much of a problem.

I had a wonderful stay while visiting a nearby attraction. The heated pool was a fantastic way to relax after a long day, and the breakfast options were truly impressive, especially the freshly cooked meals. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and made everything feel just right for my family. We also found the rooms to be clean and quite comfortable.
